Attention Youth Helpers

Dear Youth Ranch Hands,

We thank God for each and every one of you who have signed up to serve at VBS in November this year. Surely God and His Holy Spirit must be moving you to head this way to share with younger children His love and goodness for all of us.

I know some of you signed up because you no longer qualify to register as a cowpoke this year.....ha ha ha. The VBS children are known as cowpokes this year and all of us helpers are called ranch hands. So glad that you all enjoyed VBS and still wanna come back......

We have arranged a special time for all of you – to be briefed on your various "jobs" plus what there is in store for everyone at the Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS. So please do ALL come on Sunday, 5^th September 2010 at 2pm FBC Subang Globe Cafe – or else we may have no alternative but to pin up your names and photos on the WANTED posters.

Tell your mums and dads that the meeting will end at 5pm.

We also want to give you all tea-break so please RSVP or we may have to ration the food.

Last but not least, do ALSO come to the VBS Meeting on the 28^th August 2010 if you can.

VBS training cum meeting No. 1

Howdy folks !

It was so nice for our VBS 2010 Committee to note the good support from the FBC congregations both in Pantai and Subang for the ranch hands recruitment. To-date, we have 160 ranch hands.

And if you did submit a VBS Ranch Hands Recruitment Form, please check below for your name to see where you have been assigned, then saddle up and head to the FBC Subang Main Sanctuary at 2pm on Saturday, 28th August 2010 for our First VBS 2010 Meeting cum Training. Briefing, handouts, training and tea-break will be provided.

Program for our First VBS 2010 Meeting cum Training is as follows :-

1.40pm Registration

2.00pm Welcome & Opening Prayer

Icebreaker

VBS Briefing

Saddle Ridge Ranch Theme song

2.50pm Sharing the Gospel Message with Children

3.20pm Tea-break

3.45pm VBS Training (Lilian Beh)

5.45pm Closing Prayer

We know that the 27^th August 2010 (Friday) is Nuzul Quran and it's a long weekend for Selangor and some of you may not be able to make this meeting cum training on the 28^th August 2010. It would be a real shame if you didn't get your handouts or find out what we will be doing at VBS in November.

So folks, if your horse don't get you there on the 28th August 2010, do come to the VBS Meeting for the youth ranch hands (under 20 y.o.) at 2pm on Sunday, 5th August 2010 at the FBC Subang Globe Cafe.

Yeeehaw ! this year we have put together a special meeting for the many youth ranch hands that we have especially those in Form 1 and Form 2.

Please do RSVP to us by sending us an email at vbsfbcsubang@gmail.com or signing against your name on the List put up on the VBS Notice Board. This will help us determine the numbers for catering the tea-break.

Meantime, please also take note that we shall be having our 2nd VBS Meeting on the2^ndOctober 2010 and Final VBS Brief on the13^thNovember 2010.
