Day 2 - Saddle Ridge Ranch Review

We saddled up the ranch on Day Two with as much eagerness and fervency as the day before! Cowpokes and Ranch Hands gathered at the courtyard area before their march-in to Worship Rally Valley where we sang the National Anthem, recited the Rukun Negara and pledged to the Bible followed with a run through of songs learnt yesterday at Worship Rally Valley. The Day 2 song “God Cares” was presented by the Music Team.

A special guest visited us today; Joseph was his name! He looked annoyed as he was looking for his brothers.

At the Bible Study Bunkhouses, Cowpokes learnt more about Joseph’s life and how God blessed him abundantly. He told us a story about the time when his brothers mistreated him and made his life complicated. Through it all, Joseph said that God was with him, protecting and caring for him. Today’s Bible story is taken from Genesis 45:1-28.

Another round of the rotation sites lay ahead of the Cowpokes at Saddle Ridge Ranch!

Serving omelette with baked beans made snack time very mouth watering at Big Sky Grill. Cloud 9 chocolates and quenching fruity drinks were also served.

Cowpokes at Mustang Mountain today learnt how to “Shoe the Horse”. This game was played to reinforce to the cowpokes that God cares about them.

Then again at Worship Rally Valley, Cowpokes learnt to sing “God Cares”. The cowpokes learnt the actions easily. The lyrics of this song tell that we need not worry or be afraid in any circumstances because God always cares for us.

Firefly Cavern brought the Cowpokes to a different country in a different continent today. They were enlightened at how missionaries in South Africa taught the Xhosa people how to raise and sell ostriches. The missionaries also helped the people know that God cares for them.

At Blazing Star Stables, the craft item of the day was the Prayer Bucket. Included in every Cowpoke’s craft is today’s Bible verse taken from 1 Peter 5:7 - Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Yes, without a doubt God always cares for us no matter what happens. Even when we are happy or sad, sick or well, mad or glad!
